PETA is encouraging people to let there "Backyard" dogs to stay inside so they dont suffer from the cold. Dogs can suffer from Frostbite Exposure and Dehydration. Chained or penned up dogs have nowhere to go to escape the cold and snow. January is "Unchained Dog Month" so make sure you let your dogs inside so they can stay warm and loved through the winter.

my dog only leaves the house when he either has to go to the bathroom or has to bark at people and our january here were i live is our spring!
I agree. Dogs should be indoors, not outdoor. They can go on walks and run around outside a few hours a day, but not live outside. They can die.
I have an animal blog too! I don't have dogs- but I have 3 bunnies, a chinchilla, and a hedgehog.
