You know what strange?
I was watching Saturday Night Live and they made fun of the lady who sings the song in the comercial like the show always does but they were kinda saying my opinion in way that I mentioned in my first post.Wich was kinda strange considering I said it a good long time before they even filmed that episode Saturday Night Live because it was last saturday night.I'm glad others thought that though.

Animal Abuse Firsthand Part II
My friend, let's call her Megan, went cross-country last summer, so her family hired a pet sitter to watch their four cats, six fish, and dog. About two weeks before they were sceduled to come home, they called to check on their pets.
"You'd better come back early," The pet sitter just said, before hanging up.
Worried, her family left for home. Upon reaching it, they were horrified.
Mozart, their orange cat, had ran away.
Hazel, a cat they'd recently saved from the Humane Society(she'd been abused) was famished and under the couch.
Ginger, their dog, lost ten pounds.
Angel, their grey cat, had also run away.
Gracie, their other grey cat, was locked in a closet.
And there was animal waste everywere; the house sitter had left the door open and brought lots of strays.
Their house was ruined. And their animals were starved.
Soon later, they found a dead black cat in their basement. It wasn't theirs, but still, that's terrible.
Now they're living in a rental, waiting for their house to be fixed.
But luckily, Mozart and Angel came back as soon as their humans did, and Ginger, Hazel, and Gracie all soon got healthy again.
But the thing is, the house sitter somehow managed to abuse many animals without even meaning to.
I know none of you would do this, but I'm telling you this so you take a little care choosing a pet sitter and maybe adopt an animal from your Humane Society.

The Case Against Factory Farming
I'm semi-vegetarian. I only eat free-range meat that I've seen alive and know it had a good, natural, wholesome life. I don't have a problem with eating animals that were happy. It's human nature to eat meat, we've been doing it since we were cavemen with little flints and spears.
What I do have a problem with is this...
KFC, McDonald's, Burger King. Good, All-American names, right? Yummy food? (Well, I don't think so, but most people do.) As PETA puts it, the secret recipes' main ingredients are mainly cruelty.
Watch this horrific video. Visit the site. Your eyes will be opened to a whole new world. (Note: there is one few-second bit of the vid that has some blood. Well, a pot of blood. Skip over it if you have a weak stomach.)
Also check out this site, the Meatrix. (I hope that link works.) It's cute, it's animated, and it reveals some horrifying truths about factory farming. And factory farms are where the supermarkets and restaurants- especially fast-food ones- get their meat.
I tell my friends' parents I'm vegetarian when I'm over for dinner. I just don't want to spend half an hour explaining my beliefs to some skeptical parents. One of my friends became fully vegetarian after watching these videos.
I am fortunate enough to have parents that share my views on this matter. Every year, we order a pig, a cow, a few turkeys, and some chickens (butchered, of course) from a carefully selected and visited local farm.
It is positively horrifying how many people think meat is a hamburger or some red stuff on a Styrofoam plate. I hope this post begins to open your eyes to the world of factory farming and show you that the meat on your plate had a life... good or bad.

Lonley Dog and Roadkill
Okay, I know every dog in my neighborhood. One day, I saw a dog without a collar tied with rope to a tree. I didn't know this dog, but I went up to pet and stopped. I don't know if he had rabies or realy slobbery drool, but I did NOT pet him. Two days later he and the rope were gone. For all I know, he could have gotten free, the owner got him, or something else. Also, I could've been wrong, but still, it was a bit bad for someone to leave their dog like that.
I was walking home when my friend snd I saw roadkill THREE times. We saw three, cute squirrels get run over. They may not be house pets, but they are living, breathing animals that got killed. Just tell your parents too keep a look out for animals in the road. Poor squirrels. . . . . .

Mars
Snickers. Milky Way. M&M's. 3 Musketeers. Skittles. They are the names of candy that we have all grown up with, yet not knowing the full story behind it. All these candies and and many more, plus some beauty products are made by the company Mars. And Mars uses cruel animal treatment to test it's products. All that to be fat and pretty....
Here's another thing I found out...
STRAY dogs are being skewered on hooks and dragged behind boats as live
shark bait. The cruel practice takes place on French-controlled
Reunion in the Indian Ocean . A six-month-old Labrador pup was recently
found
ALIVE with a huge double hook through its snout, and another through a<> leg.. The pup was found in a coastal creek and is thought to have
somehow freed itself from a fishing line, but other dogs and kittens
have
been
chomped up and swallowed by sharks.
:P The world is not as safe as we sometimes believe...

Saving a mouse and baby bunnies.
I'm not sure why I'm posting this but, okay...
I was at Casey's house once and we found a mouse trap and we felt so bad for the mouse that was going to die from it, so we set it off with a pipe cleaner. And I went to her house 2 days ago and we found the mouse trap we had set off along time ago....
My back Yard is basically a forest and there was baby bunnies living there. My mother was mowing the yard when she saw a brown dot run the freeze in place. She screamed not knowing what it was then she took a closer look and saw it was a baby Bunnie who just went into shock. She she put it into a box, went out and bought a cage for it. And food and that leafy stuff you put in. When she called Casey's house (i was at her house) she told me and so Casey and I went to my house and we went trying to see where the baby bunnies were coming fro when we saw another one with its leg stuck under a tree. I lifted the tree(super heavy)and she grabbed the baby Bunnie. We put it with the other one and cared for them while the one got out of shock and the other ones leg healed. We even named then Pebbles and Pepper.
